Team
De Luminæ
Lab
has been founded by Ljubica Mudri and Jean-Dominique
Lénard.
Coming from the
research area, De
Luminæ Lab proposes to architecture professionals and their
clients a large choice of activities for the improvement of natural and
artificial light for luminous ambiences and their impact on summer
thermal ambience within sustainable development.
De
Luminæ Lab continues in parallel in
Research
and Development activities to continue the advancement of knowledge and
techniques to take into account sustainable development necessities
and, in particular natural light, in urban and architectural projects.
De Luminæ Lab is currently working on a
research
project on the development of design aid tools able to take into
account energy requirements.
Its members also
continue a teaching activity in
architecture, sustainable development and computing.
De
Luminæ Lab can work on a punctual
basis for a
few days to solve complex problems requering a particular expertise in
natural lighting or to evaluate a project regarding natural
and
artificial light.
De Luminæ Lab also
collaborate on a
longer basis
to accompany a project in design (building or rehabilitation) in the
building team or with the client. During the whole design
process, De
Luminæ Lab collaborate at precise moments to ensure an
efficient
and adapted luminous intake. In that case, De Luminæ
Lab
proposes a global billing for the whole process.
