De Luminæ Lab focuses its activities on consultancy and research on natural, mixed and artificial lighting, its impact on energy savings and the comfort of interior and urban ambiences.

To investigate the impact of light within architectural and urban projects, as soon as the sketch phase, De Luminæ Lab performs analyses using various tools, in particular Radiance software, internationaly recognised for the scientific quality of its results.

De Luminæ Lab can work as soon as the early phases of design, but also during the validation at the end of the design, for new buildings or rehabilitation and for urban projects. Our studies are adapted to any types of buildings (schools, housings, offices, museums, etc.).

For each project, we highlight zones with high potential or possible difficulties for energy, lighting performance, visual comfort and pleasantness relatively to architect's intentions.
